ListSplit Solutions, LLC is a North Carolina–based company providing virtual assistant and short-term rental (STR) cohosting support. We specialize in guest coordination, administrative help, and client success services. We do not perform licensed real estate activity, and this role is not property management.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Client Account Manager to support host accounts and ensure a seamless guest experience. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, manage guest communications, and coordinate day-to-day operations across multiple short-term rental properties.
This is a rolling basis opportunity: we are accepting applications now, but active contracting will begin once we expand our client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the dedicated account manager for assigned host clients
Monitor guest messages and provide timely responses within agreed-upon standards
Support check-in/check-out logistics and guest experience coordination
Track and communicate guest issues, feedback, or property concerns to the host
Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, and service providers at the host’s direction (no independent hiring or contracting)
Assist with administrative tasks such as updating guest guides, templates, and checklists
Contractors may be invited to coordination calls as needed.
Provide reporting and updates on client account activity and performance
Contractor Standards
Contractors agree to maintain responsiveness standards as outlined in their Independent Contractor Agreement, generally within two (2) hours during agreed-upon coverage windows.
Contractors will keep ListSplit Solutions informed of any issues, delays, or situations where they cannot respond within the expected timeframe.
Contractors select their availability windows in advance. Clients may only be assigned during those windows. Contractors may update availability with reasonable notice.
For consistency, contractors agree to use the host’s designated communication platform and host-approved templates when representing client properties.

Contractors provide their own devices, software, and internet access. ListSplit Solutions does not supply equipment or personal technology.
Requirements
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Familiarity with Airbnb/VRBO or hospitality operations preferred
Previous experience in customer success, account management, or hospitality a plus
Reliable internet, smartphone, and computer access
Insurance & Independent Contractor Status
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, health insurance, and benefits.
Contractors must carry active Errors & Omissions (E&O) / Professional Liability insurance at all times while contracted with ListSplit Solutions, LLC. Proof of coverage is required prior to onboarding and must remain current.
Contractors acknowledge that ListSplit Solutions, LLC does not provide insurance, workers’ compensation, or liability coverage of any kind for independent contractors.
Compliance Acknowledgment
This role strictly avoids all activities that require a North Carolina real estate license. Contractors and the company will not engage in:
Negotiating leases or rental terms
Collecting rent or guest payments
Signing contracts or binding agreements on behalf of hosts
Handling trust or escrow funds
This position is not property management. The Client Account Manager role is limited to guest coordination, communication, and administrative support.
👉 Contractors are also responsible for staying educated on what tasks are permitted under North Carolina law and must follow all compliance requirements.
Workload & Compensation
Workload may range from 5 up to 160 hours per month, depending on client demand and the contractor’s stated availability. Contractors will provide their availability during onboarding, and may update it with reasonable advance notice. Availability should remain generally consistent to ensure client coverage and may not be altered frequently or without prior communication to ListSplit Solutions.
Can be part-time or full-time depending on client assignments
Contractors who choose to provide coverage during evenings, weekends, or holidays may be prioritized for client assignments, as these are peak guest activity times.
Compensation is per-client and based on the service tier that client is subscribed to
Compensation is tied to active client assignments. If a client cancels service mid-month, compensation will be prorated for work already performed.
Payment & Invoicing
Contractors will be paid monthly via HoneyBook, our business management platform.
Contractors are required to submit an invoice each month (through HoneyBook or via PDF for upload) for services completed.
Payments are made via ACH bank transfer through HoneyBook, directly to the contractor’s connected account.
Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and will receive a 1099-NEC if paid $600 or more in a calendar year.
